Tracy has a deep appreciation for the Tower Foundation’s grant partners and is inspired by their dedication to creating a more equitable and accessible society for all. As Executive Director, Tracy understands the far-reaching impact of the Foundation’s focus areas and remains committed to ensuring services and supports are made available to those who need them most.

Outside of her work at the Foundation, Tracy enjoys gardening with her two grandchildren, taking art and yoga classes, and searching for new pottery pieces to add to her ever-growing collection. Every year, she looks forward to the cooler weather, colorful foliage, and warm sweaters that come with the fall season—not to mention her favorite holiday, Halloween!

Don is driven by his commitment to young people and families facing issues that have been ignored for far too long. As Chief Program Officer, Don feels inspired to help those who are often overlooked, undervalued, and underestimated.

As the Tower Foundation’s resident jack of all trades, Don spends his free time 3D printing, playing guitar and ukulele, and learning everything there is to know about coding, automation, and technology—just to name a few. As a self-declared bookworm, he keeps at least three books in rotation at any given time, usually reaching for sci-fi, fantasy, or non-fiction.

Each day, Chuck is inspired by the tireless efforts of grant partners, advocates, young people, and thought leaders that advance the Tower Foundation’s four focus areas. The Foundation’s continued commitment to equity in its grantmaking further drives his work as a program officer.

Chuck enjoys spending his time exploring the country in his motorhome, heading out on bike rides with his kids, and firing up the smoker to perfect his rib recipe. Always looking for a chance to be outside, Chuck loves summer and the opportunity for outdoor fun it always brings.

Working directly with nonprofits in her role as Program Officer, Megan’s dedication to the Tower Foundation’s mission is renewed each day. Having worked on both sides of the grantmaking process, Megan strives to be a kind, transparent, and supportive partner for each of the Foundation’s grant partners.

Taking advantage of Western New York’s scenery, Megan enjoys hiking, gardening, and exploring Buffalo area playgrounds with her two children. Despite the rain and mud, spring brings Megan joy and hope as she watches the plants reawaken after the chilly New York winters.

Nick is constantly impressed by the dedication of staff members—at all levels—at the nonprofits that the Tower Foundation supports. Their genuine commitment to improving the lives of young people and their families inspires his work as a program officer.

Nick enjoys taking in the rich Western New York music and theatre scenes or kayaking on area creeks. He’s currently on a mission to read all 47 novels by Anthony Trollope.

Kathy looks forward to work every day and is inspired by the Tower Foundation’s culture, her co-workers, and the important work they do. She appreciates working for an organization that makes a difference in the lives of young people and their families.

No matter the season, Kathy’s always on the move—biking, hiking, snowshoeing, and kayaking are her favorite outdoor activities. To relax her “go to” is heading to a good farmers market or out on the Harley.
