Communications Manager

The Peter and Elizabeth C. Tower Foundation is hiring a Communications Manager to help bring greater strategy, clarity, and consistency to our communications as we continue to grow.

The Foundation’s communications focus on elevating the voices of our grant partners and the communities they serve—not the institution itself.

This is an opportunity to build and lead communications at a values-driven foundation. The role combines strategy and execution: shaping messaging, creating content, and managing the channels that connect our work to the broader community.

We’re looking for someone with strong writing and storytelling skills, experience in nonprofit or social impact communications, and a mindset grounded in partnership, humility, and awareness of power dynamics.

Location: Getzville, NY (in-office)
Salary: $75,000–$90,000
