The Growing Futures Training Program at Cape Abilities Farm

“Cape Abilities is implementing the Growing Future Training Program. Through Growing Futures, Cape Abilities seeks to promote the inclusion of people with disabilities. The organization will partner with local businesses and provide them with training along with supporting them in hiring and retaining people with disabilities. Job participants will learn core competencies required to work in the green industry. An overarching goal is that participants will gain skills that allow them to work more independently.

Cape Abilities plans to recruit 12 participants into the Growing Futures program. Individuals will receive person-centered training that incorporates the goals and interests of each individual to prepare them to secure and succeed in competitive employment.”
