Tower Foundation Grant Portal Launches Thursday

Author: Don Matteson

We’re very excited about the transition to our new grants portal, but I’m sorry to say that we’re running a bit further behind schedule than we’d imagined. While we expected to “flip the switch” last week, it’s actually going to happen this Thursday. Here are a couple of things you need to know:

  • If you had an account in our old grants portal that you logged into any time after 2018, you can expect to get an email (at the address associated with the old account) inviting you to log in to the new grants portal. You should see that email no later than Thursday morning (though it’ll probably be sooner). If you don’t see it, please check your junk e-mail folder. If you still don’t see anything, you can go ahead and register for a new account and we’ll get you all squared away.
  • If you didn’t have a Fluxx account already, or if you just haven’t logged on in the past couple of years, don’t despair! You’ll be able to register for a new account and do All the Things.
  • If you’re a grant writing consultant or work on grants for more than one organization, please get in touch with me (at dwm@thetowerfoundation.org) or Kathy Andriaccio (at kea@thetowerfoundation.org) before registering so that we can get you set up to see all of the grants you’re involved with. The new system is more particular about who gets to see what, so your set up is a little more complicated than it is for the average bear.

I truly appreciate your patience and I’m looking forward to hearing your thoughts on the new system (yes, even complaints!).

Sincerely,

Donald W. Matteson
