See how communities are doing in the Tower Foundation’s focus areas. The Tower Foundation hopes it can contribute to positive changes in these areas through the funding it provides.

3Geographic Area

The Tower Foundation believes that the grants it makes improve the lives of young people and their families affected by intellectual disabilities, learning disabilities, mental illness, and/or substance use disorders. We pay careful attention to how the projects we fund are performing, but what about the bigger picture? The TowerDATA Dashboard is designed to provide a sense of how these groups are doing in the communities in which the Foundation works.

Our grants contribute to community-level change, but we don’t work in a vacuum. There are more factors at play in communities than we could ever influence on our own through our grants. That’s why we’re careful not to take credit for community-wide change when it’s good (or blame when it’s bad).

Some of what you see on the TowerDATA Dashboard comes from information we’ve collected ourselves. Some of it comes from other sources (e.g., government statistics). Either way, the data tell some interesting stories and raise at least as many questions.

We invite you to explore, learn, and ask your own questions.
