We have seen an increase in anxiety, depression, and anger amongst our scholars as a result of the pandemic and racial unrest, including the traumatic and racist shooting in our city in May 2022. Introducing a wellness program will address racial trauma and burnout in a proactive and timely manner for scholars and staff.
