“Anna Jaques Hospital will expand Social Work Case Manager hours and activities with substance-using/addicted mothers to include the pre-natal and post-natal care periods, with the goals of educating mothers about substance use and the harm it causes to the unborn child, providing one-on-one support to mothers, encouraging mothers to engage with treatment or other prevention resources, and facilitate connection to perinatal support and resources.”
